Bio:
Marshall Auerbach was the principal drafter of Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act, 1977. Marshall was co-Author with Albert E. Jenner, Jr. of Historical and Practice Notes to Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act and to Husband and Wife Act in Smith-Hurd Illinois Annotated Statutes, 1980 and Supplements through 1988. Attorney Auerbach is author: "Trying A Contested Divorce Case," 1967 (Revised, 1972, 1973 and 1975), "Separate Maintenance," 1969 (Revised, 1973 and 1976), "Property Rights and Maintenance," 1978 and 1981, "Property Considerations Upon Dissolution of Marriage," 1982-1995, Illinois Matrimonial Law Handbook; "Division of Assets," Drafting Marital Separation Agreements Handbook, 1981 and 1982, Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education; "Pitfalls of Using National Service Life Insurance in Divorce Settlements," American Bar Association Law Notes, January 1971; "An Introduction to the New Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act," Illinois Bar Journal, November 1977. Attorney Auerbach is a frequent lecturer having conducted Matrimonial Law Skills Course for Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education, 1974, 1976, 1979, 1980 and 1984. Conducted Illinois Divorce Practice Before Trial for Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education, 1993. Fellow, American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
