Bio:
Carroll A. Barry graduated with her J.D. from Northern Illinois University in 1980 and was licensed to practice law in Illinois and in the Federal District Court that same year. She has concentrated her practice in Family Law since then. In 1991, Ms. Barry completed the Cook County Mediation Certification. Ms. Barry has been on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Chapter of the AAML for several years. Ms. Barry was a lecturer for Day of the Phoenix Group, an organization for divorced and separated Catholics between 1980 and 1992. She was a moderator and a guest lecturer for Illinois Institute for CLE 1986-1988. She contributed to the CLE Survey of Illinois Law by helping Joy Feinberg write the chapter on Family Law between 1989-1992. Ms. Barry made numerous cable TV appearances discussing Family Law issues.
