Bio:
Mr. Schiller represents leaders or their spouses from the business, professional and entertainment/sports communities. He is a name partner in Schiller, DuCanto and Fleck, the nation's largest matrimonial law firm. He also teaches Divorce Practice at The University of Chicago Law School. He is a former President of the Illinois State Bar Association and has served as Chairman of its Family Law Section. Schiller was a member of the Board of Directors of the Illinois Insitute for Continuing Legal Education and is a member of its faculty for family law programs. Schiller was a member of the Board of Governors of the American Bar Association, after serving as Chair of the ABA's Family Law Section. He is currently a member of the faculty of the Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute of the American Bar Association. Schiller had the distinction of being selected as Chair of the Circuit Court of Cook County's Domestic Relations Management Advisory Committee, serving from 1993 to 2000. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and former National Chair of the Academy's Continuing Legal Education Committee. He is also a Diplomate of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers. Mr. Schiller was selected as one of his State's and Country's top matrimonial lawyers by: Worth Magazine, November, 2002; Chicago Sun-Times, August 6, 2000, Town & Country Magazine, May, 1985 and January, 1998; National Law Journal, November 16, 1987; and Crain's Chicago Business, May, 1981. Schiller is recognized by Naifeh & Smith in all editions of their book, The Best Lawyers in America, named by both Super Lawyers and Leading Lawyers Networks, and is the subject of a Chapter in the book The Divorce Lawyers, by Emily Couric. He writes and lectures extensively in the field of matrimonial law.
