Bio:
The Law Offices of Richard W. Zuckerman provides personal service to each of its clients. Richard W. Zuckerman is the first Fellow of the Illinois Chapter from outside Cook or DuPage counties to serve as its President. Richard W. Zuckerman is a graduate of Bradley University (1973) and the John Marshall Law School (1976). He has been in the private practice of law since 1980 and has concentrated his practice in family law since 1990. Richard W. Zuckerman has served many legal organizations in many capacities since he began his practice. He was an elected member of the Board of Governors of the Illinois Bar Association from 2000 to 2006 serving as its Treasurer in 2004 and 2005. He served as Chair of the ISBA Family Law Section Council in 1999 to 2000 and has served the Section Council in one capacity or another since 1985. He is presently a member of the Council. In 2002-2003 he served as President of the Abraham Lincoln Inn of Court. He was first elected to the IAAML Board of Managers in 1996. Richard W. Zuckerman currently serves on two committees established by the General Assembly; the Child Support Advisory Task Force and Task Force to Review the IMDMA. He also currently serves as a Chair of a Hearing Panel of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission. A certified Rule 900 Mediator in the Tenth Judicial Circuit he received his Certification in Mediation from Aurora University in 1999. He is also a certified Guardian ad Litem. Richard W. Zuckerman practices in the Circuit Courts, Third and Fourth District Appellate Courts and the Illinois Supreme Court. He has litigated numerous issues in the appellate court including the constitutionality of grandparent visitation in the case of Langman v. Langman.
