Bio:

Ms. Kuzniar amassed much experience in a diverse litigation practice, prior to limiting her practice to family law. She has the ability to expeditiously analyze and assess complex matters for settlement or trial. She practices in Cook, Lake and DuPage County. She settles and litigates complex divorce, parentage and custody cases. She drafts prenuptial agreements, partnership agreements and represents children by court appointment. She accepts private mediation clients and will act as a private parenting coordinator pursuant to the parties’ negotiated parameters. She is active in the Illinois State Bar Association having served on the family law section council, its subcommittees, as continuing legal education liaison and on its general assembly. She is also a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, Lake County Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and American Bar Association. She is an author and guest lecturer at variety of bar sponsored continuing legal education seminars and court sponsored seminars. She graduated from Loyola University of Chicago, School of Law obtaining her Juris Doctor in 1991. She was admitted to: the State of Illinois Supreme Court, November 1991, the Northern District of Illinois, December 1991, and the Supreme Court of the United States of America, June 2003. She has lectured and presented on the following topics from 2002 to the present: Direct and Cross Examination of Custody Evaluators, Complex Issues in Divorce for the Illinois Practitioner, Gift and Estate Tax Issues in Matrimonial Actions and Settlement, Federal Tax Consequences of Using Business Assets in a Divorce, Recent Developments in Child Custody and Support, Full Custody Evaluations, Domicile Relocation, Jurisdiction Modification and Removal, Practical Child Support Problems, Insurance and Inheritance Issues in Divorce, Spousal Maintenance, Attorney Client Confidentially vs. Inquiries for Disclosure from the IRS, Federal Privacy Laws Impacts on Discovery, and Preparing Your Client for an Evaluation.
